This Emotions Sight Word Reading Book and kit is designed as a great modified curriculum to present clear pictures and vocabulary for emotions, or feelings. These are suitable for preschool, kindergarten or special education and target not only sight reading skills for the visual learner, but also both expressive and receptive language. The vocabulary words in this unit are: He, she, is, feeling, angry, confused, content, excited, embarrassed, happy, proud, sad, shocked, scared, shy, and worried.
All of my "Sight Word Reading Books and Kits" are designed for learning vocabulary, simple sentence structures and reading sight words. I will also be featuring some add-on units that will help you incorporate basic language concepts, handwriting, spelling and memory.
They are designed to label and read as a book, then allow you to match picture to picture, word to picture and word to word. These kits were created because as a prior speech-language pathologist and now home schooling mom, I found it hard to find curriculum options that were simple for my daughter with Down Syndrome, and some other significant special needs. I needed products that were visually appealing, featured expanding vocabulary, but kept the language level low. I also needed them to be free from clutter on the page.
Please feel free to contact me if there is a particular unit you need. I am currently working on over 150 units for this sight words series. Thank you for your support!
