How to Use
Task cards can be used in a large group, small group, or 1:1. When using these cards with kids with disabilities, it is recommended to have peer role models. The peer role models can help provide strong answers and explanations to students.

Some of the ways you can use task cards in your classroom include:
• Partner students up and have students go back and forth answering and answering questions orally.
• Group students in 3 or 4 to discuss one particular task card orally
• Partner students up with games (Connect Four, Scrabble, etc.). Students can take a turn after they answer one of the task cards.
• Lead a guided group to discuss specific task cards with students.
• Go around the room and have students randomly select a task card for them and their partner to answer.
