This deck of BOOM CARDS™ contains 34 cards targeting facial expressions and emotions. It targets understanding and recognizing the specific facial features of various emotions. The first 4 cards provide a brief introduction of the key components that are important in identifying the facial expressions of emotions (eyebrows, eyes, mouth). The next 30 cards name an emotion and ask the student to drag and drop (click and drag) a set of eyebrows, eyes, and a mouth (from a field of 2 choices each) to the person figure to create the facial expression.

The following 30 emotions are targeted in the deck:

relieved, worried, bored, calm, confused, sad, disgusted, embarrassed, excited, grumpy, happy, mad, proud, scared, shocked, sick, silly, stressed, overjoyed, frustrated, tired, amazed, hot, energetic, shy, jealous, lonely, upset, curious, relaxed.
