Check out this cool way to help students identify events that:
1- Make them feel a specific emotion
2- Help them identify strategies that they can engage in to help manage their emotions
3- Help them differentiate between 'little', 'medium' and 'BIG' feelings within those emotions and the scenarios that evoke those feelings.
Provided in this pack are the following emotions:
For each emotion there are 3 different templates.
One template provides examples of the events/calming strategies that can evoke the emotions, along with a space in which a child specific example can be hand written on it.
The second 2 templates are blank (one with 3 lines for 3 examples, and one with a blank space for bigger writing/single examples) so they can be customized for your students by writing student specific examples/calming strategies using a dry erase marker (which can then easily be erased and re-written specific to the situations in which the student will need to utilize strategies)
