Product Description
This purchase is for an activity that teaches students about empathy and
putting themselves in other people’s shoes. This activity is in the form of an
advice column. There are three separate letters to an advice columnist,
and students must respond to the letter as though they are the ones giving
advice. The three letters when read side by side are in a 'loop' so to speak. One letter is from a 'bully', one from a 'victim' and one from a bystander. The letters show each person's perspective of a single situation.

This is a great activity for students to work on individually or together. It is great for a class, small group or even individual. I like to only give each person or group/partnership one letter and then read them all (letters and advice) aloud so students can see how they fit together and understand the importance of showing empathy even to those we may feel don't deserve it.
