This product is the first phase of an anti-bullying program developed for a problematic group of 5th and 6th graders. The approach is based on creating a culture of empathy and respect by raising awareness, teaching assertiveness and how to stand up for others. (During Phase Two, the boys did team-building activities while the girls’ sessions focused on honesty, friendship, coping, emotions, self-talk, optimism, and valuing others.)
