A fun emergent reader to practice beginning sounds in Spanish. This is a 6 page booklet which includes 5 words and a cover page, PLUS another page with the letters that need to be cut. These readers can be placed in a browsing box or sent home for practice.
This activity focuses on:
*the beginning sound in a word
*identifying and tracing upper and lower case letters
*picture/ word correspondence
*cutting and pasting the letter at the beginning of a word
Students could read the booklet something like this, " abeja, abeja, /a/, /a/, /a/
