This chemistry homework page is perfect for students to review how to calculate empirical formulas from chemical formulas. For the top part of the page, students will determine the empirical formula from the chemical formula. And then on the bottom half, students calculate empirical formula masses. These skills will help students understand the relationship between empirical and chemical formulas, which will help them understand how to calculate them later on from word problems. This page is intended for all levels of chemistry students.
