This is a great way to start the new semester !
It reviews all that students have learned in a fun way.
Students interview each other and write out the answers in third person.
They also have another sheet to later fill in with the information they have found out about the partner.
We then go over the appropriate answers and how things should be worded.
Then I usually have them switch papers and one asks the other a few questions. The answering partner answers with his/her paper turned over.
I then ask for volunteers to do a few out loud. ( both question and answer with No paper viewing)
This really helps them speak.
The homework is to put it all together and write a paragraph or two about the partner.
There is a guided writing included which helps them put it together.
