Role play in which beginning students of Spanish play the roles of a restaurant owner and a customer. Grading guide included (letter grades- you assign points as you see appropriate) for a proficiency-based classroom. Included also is a 50-page compressed guide of common foods and drinks in Spain as a guide.
A Power Point presentation version of the handout is included as well as the JPGs if students want to make their own menus with pictures or you want to edit the presentation for your class.
A handout with useful words and phrases for restaurants included.
Please note: beer, wine and tinto de verano pictures are also included in the guide. This is just an FYI. As it is certainly culturally appropriate to have these with meals, it is best to know before presenting here in the US.
