Description
TRIGGER WARNING: This unit has the theme of self image and mental health. Students will talk about several challenges that are typical of teens' mental health. They will see themselves through the eyes of others as we start to consider self image. The video for the song En guerra may not be appropriate in your school context but the lyrics are completely appropriate. You can play a LYRIC video if the imagery in the official video is too much for the kids you teach.
En guerra is unit 1 of the Huellas 2 curriculum from Somewhere to Share but can also be used as a stand-alone unit.
