This assessment was created as an alternative to the assessments provided with the curriculum. Review questions at the end give students an additional opportunity to be successful. This helps them prove that improvements are being made and helps you track their progress throughout the year without giving an additional 30 question or more benchmark assessment.
Questions on these topic tests have been adjusted to give students more of an opportunity to prove what they know. The language is more student friendly, while still upholding language they will have to know for standardized state tests. Graphic organizers for items like partial products, base ten models, and place value charts have been provided to students. Confusing matching questions have been reinvented.
This assessment is 17 questions long. An answer key is provided and gives suggested point values for each question.
You can use these as your actual assessment, extra practice, study guides, or homework.
You can also buy all 16 Topic assessments as a bundle in my store. Data tracking forms are included in the bundle, but not in the individual assessments currently.
