Product Description

Hi TPT Friends!

What do the kids do when they’re done their math paper?

I pulled together the resources offered by Pearson’s EnVision Math Program and added some fun math challenges that support the unit, to make this fun Math Choice Board.

The following activities assume that you have access to EnVisions Math online resources. The 16 activities on the choice board include 8 printables from Envisions and 8 games that I’ve created and included in the bundle.

Here's what's included:

Topic 2 - Addition Strategies - Choice Board
My Vocabulary book cover
Adding 0 - page and answer key
Double Down Game - sorting game and worksheet
Roll 3 Game - dice game
Doubles & Near Doubles Game - sorting game with recording worksheet
Spin the Win Game
Doubles Fortune Teller
Pizza Party Game - with game board and pieces
Hundred Board Challenge Doubles and Near Doubles - with answer key

Here’s how I use Math Choice Boards in my classroom:

Each kiddo has a math folder. I make a copy the choice board for each student to keep in his/her folder throughout the topic. I also hang a colorful choice board in the classroom for quick reference.

In our Math center, I have a magazine file box for each activity (16 in all.) Everything needed for each activity is in the box (papers, counters, dice, etc.) I cut up a color version of the board and tape the corresponding square on each file box so the kids can easily tell which box they need to go to for materials. I use little snap containers that I found at the dollar store to put together a little kit of what’s needed for each activity so the kiddos can get started quickly.

Enjoy!
