Product Description

This is designed as a differentiated worksheet based on Jane Yolen's Encounter. This is for LOW students. I've also made worksheets for meeting and high performing students.

I designed this differentiated worksheet to supplement "Encounter" by Jane Yolen. Students should draw inferences from the figurative language to determine whether Jane Yolen is trying to portray similarities or differences between the Taino people and the explorers.

This worksheet could then be supplemented with a double bubble map, in which students can transfer their similarities and differences.
