End of year interviews are a great end of year activity to get your third graders excited about entering 4th grade! I know that I've always had a mixture of excitement and nervousness within my students and this activity has always helped them feel more confident and comfortable about leaving their current grade level for the next.

Students will learn how to interview by using the appropriate interview interactions (voice, greeting, posture, and eye contact). They will read a reader's theater script for practice. They will practice interviewing a friend in their class first and then interview a fourth grader to learn about what to expect in 4th grade.
