End Of Year Interview (Kindergarten)

End of year interviews are a great end of year activity to get your kindergarteners excited about entering 1st grade! I know that I've always had a mixture of excitement and nervousness within my students about leaving for summer and entering a new grade when they come back from summer break.

Students will learn how to interview by using the appropriate interview interactions (voice, greeting, posture, and eye contact). They will read a reader's theater script for practice. They will practice interviewing a friend in their class first and then interview a first grader to learn about what to expect in first grade.
