These end of the year questions give students a chance to reflect on the year and can be used to create a book for future students. I collect these questions and drawings each year and bind them in a collection that goes in my classroom library. Each year students love looking at previous groups and look forward to adding their own. Plus, it's always a hoot to see what they remember about you and to see what they think you'll remember about them!
This is an idea I got from my mother, who was an elementary teacher for nearly years. She had her students do this each year. A few months ago she gave me the notes her students wrote the year I was born. It was truly heartwarming!
