These two activities will show students firsthand that success begins before a project ever gets started.
The first activity has students observe two classmates working on the same activity. Those observing will answer questions based on the actions of their classmates working diligently to get the job done noting the difference in the challenge each has. (You will need to buy two items at a dollar store for this lesson.)
The second activity has small groups complete an assignment--half at a disadvantage. Everything for this activity is included.
Each lesson will take 40-50 minutes.
What you get in this purchase:
--setup and directions for Activity One
--analysis worksheet for Activity One
--setup and directions for Activity Two
--analysis worksheet and materials needed for Activity Two
Show students success begins with an 'end in mind' in place.
