Great way to handle classroom management at the end of the year. Your Kiddos getting antsy? Classroom management getting a little out of hand? Use this to motivate your students to still be that great student they were in the middle of the year.
This is an Auction I have at the end of every year I teach. This is also a great way to get rid of all our unwanted items that you are no longer going to use next year. (aka cleaning out your desk) HAHA
How To Use:
Pass out the explanation sheet to every student in order to explain how this is going to work. If students do something great you give them "money". (You do not even need money you can just make tallies and tell them how much money they have in the bank. If you do have fake money this is also a great way to review counting money.) The last day of school I have an auction in the classroom and auction away items I do not need for next year and they can buy these items with the money they have earned.
Some of the item examples I give away are:
Old stickers, anchor charts, reading and math workstation charts, character counts signs, (we get new every year) any posters I need to remake that are faded from the year, anything with the class names on it.
The kids love this and it really does motivate them to keep trying their best in class. I made this product free because I feel like you have already spent enough money this year! You need a freebie! Hope you enjoy. Any questions please feel free to ask away.
