This end of year resource contains pages to make a great little book for this year’s students to write for next year’s students. It has a page for letter writing, one for a list of favorite books, the funniest thing that happened all year, important things learned in each subject area, favorite memories, and tips for success. Simple to assemble: just run copies back to back, and fold pages in half, tucking one sheet inside the other. No need to staple or bind!
I like to have my students make a video during the last week of class, sending messages of advice and wisdom to next year’s students. Writing in this little book is the perfect rehearsal for that video!
Specific versions for grades 3, 4, and 5 are all included in this one resource! Just scroll through the download file for your particular grade level.
On the first day of school, tuck a little book into each “Welcome to School” bag or just place one on each desk. It’s a warm welcome and a preview of the great year to come from someone who has traveled the same road.
All pages in black and white.
