This is a collection of 14 no prep activities that are perfect for the end of year literacy activities. Let the students show you what they know and apply the skills they have learned throughout the year, without them even realizing they are still doing work. These activities “sneak” the standards in in an engaging way.

Each activity contains 1-2 printables that provide the student with the directions and information needed to complete the activity. Some activities will take only 1 class period and some may extend over 2 class periods. Some of the activities also include a partner task in addition to the individual task.
These activities do not nclude reading passages. The reading standard activities have the students applying the standard by creating their own story to meet the requirement. They then trade with a partner to read and analyze each other's stories. My students love this type of activity!
I have also included a tracking sheet if you wish to allow the students to work at their own pace or for you to keep track of who has completed which activity.
Ideas for Differentiation: Depending on your students, you may need to differentiate and provide some support for some of the activities. This can be easily done with a class discussion about the activity and/or a class brainstorming chart.
