"A Colorful School Year" is the name of this end of year reflection activity. It will get your kids thinking outside the box as they connect crayon colors to school memories. They will pull a crayon from the bag, reflect on a memory the crayon color reminds them of, and then write about the memory.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
In this reflection activity pack, you will find a memory activity sheet for grades 2-5. There is also a crayon themed title page to be glued to a brown lunch baggie, as well as directions.
This can be used as a partner activity, center activity, or even individual. Use it in your classroom however you would like.
How does this end of year reflection activity work?
You will glue the direction card and title card to the outside of a lunch baggie. You will fill the bag with lots of crayons. You will need at least 5 different colors because there are 5 memory frame sections on the page to be filled out.
Students will pull a crayon color from the baggie. They will take the crayon and color one of the crayons on a memory frame on the sheet. They will then reflect. They will connect the color to an event, activity, friend, lesson, or anything else from the school year. They will recap and briefly write about that memory in the space provided. Once they have pulled 5 colors and written 5 color related memories, they will color the remainder of the sheet.
*********Space is limited in each memory section. You may want to click on the preview before you buy to see if the amount of space and lines will work for your students. Students are writing a memory with a few details.**************
