There's almost nothing students love better than a good scavenger hunt! This School's Out Scavenger Hunt takes between 20-40 minutes, depending on your time available.
There are two parts to the hunt: one requires photographs (I used old cameras/phones borrowed from people) and the other requires that students collect items and bring them back to the room. There is an emphasis on following directions, as they won't get credit unless they do exactly as the hunt form says.
Points are allotted to each item and there are boxes to check off to help student organization. Groups can be as large as you desire. Some sample items on the list include, "a picture of one teammate behind a teacher's desk, a picture of at least half the team under something, and an autograph from a teacher someone in the group used to have." There are 27 items in total. My students had a blast with this!
