This is a fun and quick End of Year review activity associated with common core 6-8 vocabulary and figurative language.
Simply print cards (put on card stock and laminate for durability) and place them in order either around the classroom or the hallway. Print just one set of student copies for each class period you have and one answer sheet for the teacher to check answers. The student copies come three to a page, four pages- twelve total.
Place students into very small groups (I would suggest 2-3 students per group but no more than 12 groups total) and give each group a student sheet. Students should follow the path given to them, this allows for groups to not be crowded around the same answer sheet.
You can print the pages whole and hang them or you can print four to a page and create task cards to play Scoot.
I have included a black and white version that is printer friendly and a color copy as well.
