This product addresses 8 factors that contributed to the end of the Middle Ages (and to the start of the Renaissance). Students are asked to decide whether each factor is a result of the Crusades, Black Death, Magna Carta or Cultural Revival. Students need to match the factor to the topic.
This product includes two different formats: the first is a simple match where students write out the letter to the topic it relates to. The other format has students cut out all 8 factors and glue them into the correct location. This format is great for an interactive notebook!
To give you an idea of the factors, here are two of the factors that relate to The Black Death:
1. Peasants were able to demand higher wages since there were fewer people to work the fields, leading to a development of a middle class.
2. Nobility and the feudal pyramid became less important since there was such a drastic population decrease
