This adorable writing prompt and craft is perfect for Pre-K through 5th grade as an end of the year activity.

It includes a bulletin board/door header to display: “Here’s the SCOOP: This Year was so SWEET!”

Next, print out the writing response scoop(s) you want students to use. You may choose to use only one scoop per student. Or, you can print several different scoops with different prompts and let students staple the scoops to form a booklet or glue them on top of each other like a multi-scooped ice cream cone. It’s all up to you! I’ve included prompts for grades Pre-K through 5th and have included blank scoops for illustrating and lined scoops for writing.

Prompts Include:

  • My Favorite Thing About _____ (Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade)
  • Favorite Memories
  • My Teacher
  • My Friends
  • Field Trips
  • What I Learned

This craft and writing prompt makes a low prep and adorable way to summarize students’ SWEET year in your classroom and makes the perfect end of the year hallway or bulletin board display!
