This packet is designed to keep your students engaged through the last week of school. The activities are meaty (no worksheets) and hands-on. They review the second grade standards taught throughout the year. It covers math, reading, social studies, and science. The following assignments are included:
- Three non-fiction reading passages (Who Invented Pizza?, School Long Ago, and Walt Disney) with hands-on activities that focus on reading comprehension.
- Three math activities (Shaving Cream Math, Mixed Review Scavenger Hunt, and More/Less than 50 Flapbook).
- Two social studies reading passages (Albert Einstein and Marie Curie) with corresponding graphic organizers and a Venn diagram to compare and contrast two famous scientists from long ago.
- Create your own animal science project.
