End of the Year Activity: Looking for end of the year activities? Try this Cootie Catchers
At the end of the year - especially the last week of school, or even the last couple of days, we are all looking for fun interactive activities.
Cooty Catchers.... Fortune Tellers.... whatever you want to call them... :-) All kids love these.

If you don't know how to fold a cootie catcher, click here to watch a video on youtube.
==================
These little cootie catchers are just conversation starters for students to share about their year. There are two different versions, so kids can partner up and then switch in order to ask each other both sets of questions. They include questions like:
*Did you prefer art of music? What activity did you like best in that class.
*What is your favorite recess activity?
*What did you learn in social studies this year? Share about one topic.
*What did you like best about your teacher?
Between the two fortune tellers, there are 16 questions.
NOTE: I put letters on the outside to make it a bit different. SO, if there is an H, kids will move the fortune teller 8 times as they say, "ABCDEFGH".... They will then pick a number, and the student will move it that many times, and then on the third pick, which is also a number, the student holding the fortune teller will raise the flap and read the question. The partner will share their thoughts to answer the question.
