The End of the Year Animal Editable Awards feature 40 different awards, so you’ll be able to find one that is just right for each of your students. Each award comes in three versions, a colorful editable version so you can type in student names, your name, and the date, and two write-in versions: one with a colorful border and a printer friendly version with a white border. There's also an award checklist, so you can add student names and figure out who will receive which award.
This resource includes:
A PDF file with 40 printable awards
A PDF file with 40 printable awards which are printer friendly (use less ink)
A PowerPoint file with 40 editable and printable awards (to add names and dates)
A check off list with all of the awards
Here are some of the 40 awards included:
The Lion Award: For Being an Awesome Leader
The Dog Award: For Being a Faithful Friend
The Giraffe Award: For Sticking Out Your Neck to Help Others
The Shark Award: For Being so Sharp in All Subjects
The Lightning Bug Award: For Being so Bright in Science
The Swan Award: For Tremendous Growth This year
The Seahorse Award: For Your Amazing Creativity…
I’ve given my students awards at the end of the year for quite a few years now and it is something I always look forward to. The kids really love it and it’s funny how special a simple piece of paper becomes when it’s accompanied by a few words from the teacher and a round of applause from classmates.
One of the things I love about this set is that there are so many awards from which to choose. With 40 awards, you are bound to find one that will fit each child. Even a “hard to award” kind of kid might be able to be given the “Penguin Award: For Being So Fun to Be Around” or the “Rhinoceros Award: For Your Strong Athletic Skills” award. The quietest of kids might receive the “Deer Award: For Your Caring Heart” and the sweet child that is low academically might receive the “Monkey Award: For Being a Day Brightener” or the “Caterpillar Award: For Outstanding Growth This Year”.
I am so happy to be able to share these with you. I hope that these will be something that you’ll be able to use year after year and that they will be really meaningful for your students.
