End of the Year Awards:
The ABC's of a terrific school year! Perfect for the end of school or any time classroom awards
Do you do an end of the year party where you recognize each student with an award? If so, then these end of the year awards might be the perfect idea.
They are bright and colorful and so much fun. Yes, they will take some ink, but the kids will be so proud of this colorful award. I suppose you could just set your printer to black and white if you prefer that :-) You can even put them in a $1 frame from the Dollar Store, and it can be something the students can display at their house, maybe display in their bed room. The upper grades kids would really appreciate this, as I am sure they would reflect on the positive word often if they had a visual.
Each award is for the letter of the alphabet, and for each letter of the alphabet, there is a positive word. When choosing an award for a child, just try to relate that word to them in some way.
For example, for the word "enthusiastic", you may share about how the child was always excited about learning and had a smiling face each school day.
The kids will all be excited to see what letter you have chosen for them.
I have included a few cards in case you have more than 26 kids in your class. There are a total of 32 different positive words.
