Product Description
End of Year Awards : This is a pack of awards to celebrate character traits at the end of the school year. There are 2 ways you can use these when passing them out:

1) Print and pass out and don't allow kids time for coloring (just cool patterns)
2) Print and pass out and then allow the kids to color their own award. This is the method I love. The colored award looks really neat, and students will enjoy adding their own creative touches with color. They will really pop if students don't have the same colors touching in boxes beside each other.

The coloring patterns are probably most suitable for upper elementary (grades 3-5).

Each award has a trophy on it as pictured in the thumbnails above.

***Even though I made these for the end of the year awards, you can also use these throughout the year if you want. They will also work for a student of the week. You could build a student of the week award bulletin board. Present the award to the student, let them take it home and color, and then add it to the bulletin board.***

If you choose the method of allowing kids to color their end of the year award and you are able to pass them out a week or so before school gets out, they will look great displayed in the hallway.

For these end of the year awards, there are 12 different background patterns and 50 different character traits. You pick the ones that best fit the individual kids in your class. The character traits are:

There are 2 formats included in a zipped file.

1) One is a powerpoint file and you can insert text boxes on the file to type the student name, your name, and the date. Editable means you can ADD text over the file, but you can NOT change the images and text already on the file. See the thumbnail so you know what the awards look like. If you choose to add text, you may need to click 'enable editing' at the top of the powerpoint file.

2) The other file format is a pdf. You can use that file for easy printing and then write in the information.

NOTE: Because there are lots of background images used in this file, you may want to go into your printer settings and print 'as an image'. This will especially be helpful if you have any stray marks that show up on the paper.
