End of the Year Gifts for Students | Word Clouds | End of the Year Party

How does it all work?

1. Add each of your student's names to the included Google Form.
2. Assign the Form to students and they'll type one thoughtful word to describe each of their classmates. (Don't worry, a character trait cheat sheet is included in each section of the Google Form for support)
3. A Google Sheet will automatically organize all the responses from the Form so you can easily copy and paste each students' words into WordArt.com to create their word cloud.
4. Using my step-by-step video tutorial, you'll customize your colors, fonts, and design to make the coolest word clouds in WordArt.com!
5. Add all of the finished word clouds and your students' photos into the included Google Slides presentation so you can print them all at once.
6. Print the pages on cardstock or better yet, frame them and present to students at your end of the year celebrations. (Pages are 8x10in so they'll fit perfectly into $1 frames from the Dollar Tree!)

How long does this take?

You'll use the 15-minute video tutorial to create your first Word Cloud, pausing and playing the video alongside creating yours. After your first word cloud is finished, all of the settings will be saved, so you can quickly copy and paste your students' words and churn out the rest of the clouds. (Spend a little extra time inserting and cropping your students photos for added pizazz.) Estimated total time 1-2 hours depending how quickly you work.

What student photos should I insert?

This is optional but makes the word clouds really cute! Take photos of all of your students vertically with your phone, so you can crop them easily to fit next to the word cloud. (See video preview)

How do I frame these?

The print outs will be formatted to fit in 8x10in frames. I grab my frames from the Dollar Tree, so my end of the year gift cost is only $1 per student! Don't have a budget for this? No problem, give these to students on cardstock paper or laminate.
