Use them during the last week or on the last day of school Students will participate in activities that will prepare them for keeping on their toes this summer while they keep reading, writing, and practicing math skills all summer long!

students will assemble a summer reading log calendar and pick a just-right book to take home and read over the summer
Summer Writing Challenge
students will assemble a summer writing booklet that includes an interactive cover that allows them to draw surprise writing prompts out of a "jar" to keep them interested in new topics all summer long.
Advice to New Students
students will write letters to the students who will be in your class next year
Stock Up Station
students will stock up on extra supplies, their used notebooks, and a summer gift from you-a dice game to practice multiplying while having fun...you supply the dice, but six fun games in a cute template are included!
Students will create multiplication flash cards to practice problems they have the most trouble with...feel free to substitute with other facts (addition, division) but multiplication tables are included.
Year End Memories
Students will complete a fun booklet to recount their favorite parts of the year, and get their friends' autographs!
My students enjoy these stations so much, and I love getting them thinking about extending their learning and keeping their brains sharp all summer. You will need a few inexpensive supplies to complete all the stations: plastic bags (I like the non-zippered ones), a few pages of colored paper, two dice per student, and then a few typical school supplies like markers, index cards, staplers, and tape. The directions are clear and very step-by-step. You should be able to implement the stations very easily. If you find a better way to word something in the packet, or need something specific for your class, I will try to accommodate your needs! Email me at email@example.com and give me at least 48 hours notice to complete your changes! Enjoy!
