The end of the year has arrived and it is time to end with a BANG! I have a fun beach theme in my classroom, but this packet would be good for ANY classroom. It is just a fun way to end the year.
All you have to do is purchase this packet and print off all the fun activities. This packet is full of fun things to do.
Here is what it includes:
*End of the Year Celebration letter to parents
*Itinerary for the Event if you are unsure what to do!
*Timeline activity (This is where students have the chance to review everything they have learned for the year! There are headings and worksheets so students can follow along while you complete this fun activity.)
*Student presentation templates (This is where students write a summary about what they learned during the year. You could have students complete different topics or just sum up the whole year. There is a question worksheet where students can answer questions to help them prepare to write their final summary that they share at the end of the year celebration. The questions guide the students when trying to think of things to write about.)
*Photo booth props (You can't have a party without a photo booth!)
*Placemat and centerpiece craft (Students make a fun placemat that they can cherish forever. There is also a great fine motor skill craft where students can decorate a flower and then use this craft to decorate the tables as centerpieces for the party!)
*Thank You letter to parents craft (Students make a fun sand bucket where they thank their parents for what they have done for the year. There is a writing template that goes on the sand bucket.)
*Luau Literacy Game (Students play this game with their guests. There is a recording sheet and game materials provided to make preparation easy!)
*Luau Math Game (Students review different math skills with this fun game. There is a recording sheet available.)
*End of the Year Craft (This is a great hallway display prior to the end of the year celebration. Students write about their plans for the summer of what they want to achieve the next school year. Then, they make a craft to go with the writing.)
There are also EDITABLE pages available when trying to prepare for the big event. This might come in handy when sending home the parent invitation, decorating the room, or when making an itinerary for the day.
This packet is full of everything you need. It is fun and simple. My students loved this event and the parents raved about all the fun they had. I made it for my second grade class, but it can be modified for kindergarten, first, third, fourth, fifth, and even sixth! I have templates created for each grade.
I appreciate you purchasing this product, and I truly hope you enjoy it!
