End of the Year Memory Book Writing Prompt Activities Summer Fun 2nd 3rd Grade

Looking to add some fun writing activities to your literacy centers or classroom activities? This seasonal fun bundle includes a variety of crafts with writing prompts to make things engaging.

End of the Year Fun

Your students can also create their own end of the year memory books with the no prep end of the year activities too! It makes a great keepsake, and students are able to reflect upon the year. This is a really fun activity for the last day of school. The winter writing prompts include both informative, fictional, and narrative writing prompts. There are graphic organizers included for students to organize their writing. There are also two line options and papers included to extend the writing to another page if needed.

Spring Science with Read Alouds Fun

Looking to add some spring science to your reading comprehension lessons? This science activities bundle includes well written non-fiction read aloud books with

amazing photography. After reading these with the class, you can extend

comprehension with the spring writing and diagram crafts. Topics includes ants,

butterfly life cycle, the life cycle of a flower, bees, frog life cycle, cloud

types, earthworms, and the water cycle.

There are two versions for each craft, and you can choose from either one. Each topic has a stand alone craft and an option to add these to an interactive notebook if desired. If you don't do interactive notebooks, then just use the stand alone spring craft.

Mother's Day Writing Craft

Let your students have a choice this year with what to create for Mother’s Day! These no prep writing cards include five different activities with various options to fit different classroom needs. Each activity includes a special person option, so students without a mom present are not left out and can give their creation to someone special.
