Description
Testing is finally over, and now it's time to end the year like you started it...by slaying it with “See Me On Social: #School’sOut!” This end of year memory book helps students reflect on the past school year in your class. As part of our See Me On Social lineup, all of the activities in this resource are aligned to a different social media platform. They are perfect for the last few weeks of school to keep students engaged. The focus is on student creation and not just consumption.
One thing that is undeniable about Generation Z is that they are heavy users of social media. They are active on social media platforms at all hours of the day, and there’s no stopping that. So, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em in a safe, controlled environment. Students will enjoy finishing these assignments because they closely mirror the social media activities they engage in everyday. Apps included in this activity are Google, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, Wordpress, Snapchat, and Spotify.
These activities work great in Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint. Most slides can be printed before typing in them to be used as a pencil and paper activity or after students complete the slides as a printed memory book. Each slide has placeholders for text based on the different activities.
