Looking for an End of the Year SCOOT activity for older kids who are below grade level in reading and writing? I created this fun End of the Year SCOOT game for students in my Mild/Moderate Special Education middle school classroom. This is a unique type of SCOOT game in that the task cards are geared for older students, but they are also written in simple language with plenty of visuals.
Students are restless at the end of the year! Give them a chance to move around while being productive! These task cards are interest based, which helps with engagement.
There are 6 types of questions in the set to mix it up a bit, and keep things interesting! Each type of question is represented with a picture logo that corresponds to the answer sheet.
*10 Reflection questions (students reflect on their year)
*5 Class Award questions (students nominate peers for specific awards)
*6 Would You Rather questions (students make a choice between two options)
*6 Best. Summer. Ever questions (students answer about their dream vacation)
*4 Rating questions (students rate the school in four areas)
*6 Time Capsule questions (students answer six questions about who they are at this moment in time)
