The end of the school year is your last opportunity to make a positive impression on your students. It’s a great time to make your students stand out and recognize them with superlative awards using our “Instafamous #grammable” resource. These awards are perfect for your students as they depart the year. We took the traditional superlative awards and brought them into Gen Z’s language….hashtags! We have also included a classic throwbacks section with the superlatives you are used to from when you were in high school if you would like to use those. Make your students feel like the stars they are by making them Instaf@mous!
Our Instafamous #grammable resource includes a total of 140 unique awards made in Google Slides with two versions each totalling 280 different awards. The first version has a space to include a picture of the student who won the award. The alternative version includes the award title in large print with a place on the cell phone for you to type in the winning student’s name. Both have space under the post for you to write a personal message to the student to remember you. We have also included a space to put the school year or the specific date you award the student. Want to give the same award to multiple students, maybe in different classes? Simply duplicate the slide!
These awards are perfect to be given digitally or they look amazing when printed out. You can even make a slide deck out of the awards to play on a loop for students to see. Just remember that one license covers one teacher/classroom. If you plan to use this resource for the entire school or across one grade level, please purchase the proper number of licenses at the discounted rate or reach out to us if you have questions.
Awards are separated into 6 different categories: Remote Learning, Future Careers, Personality Traits, Classic Throwbacks, Just Saying, and Superheroes. The graphics for each award were intentionally chosen so that no specific gender is shown with the exception of only a few awards. Because of this, almost every award can be awarded to a male or female student. For example, for “Best Promposal,” we used an icon of an invitation because this award could go to a male or female student. All emojis used were gender and race neutral versions. This is our philosophy for all of our materials, but the first time we are specifically pointing this out.
