Endangered Animals Activity Kit is a fun, interactive way for students to learn, while integrating science, ELA, and social studies! Make learning without a textbook motivating and exciting for students!
Included in this kit you will find:
-Endangered Animals Menu (keeps students’ independent learning focused with 6 activity choices)
-Endangered Animals Pamphlet (copy back to back to create pamphlet for recording research)
-Endangered Animal Poster (research to report 3 facts)
-Endangered Animal “I Am” Poem (research to write a poem from the perspective of an endangered animal)
-Endangered Animal Art (plan and design an art project related to an endangered animal)
-Endangered Animal Research Report (research and write a report)
-Endangered Animal Slideshow (research to report in a slideshow)
Prep for the kit is easy: print and copy activity sheets and activity direction cards. Place books (from your library), copies, direction cards and any additional materials (art supplies) in a bin or a bag for student access. Students can work independently or in small groups for science/ELA enrichment! One kit can last one week, or throughout the duration of your unit, depending on how much time you have. You may also use these projects as extensions for students who want to learn more independently. Each activity can also be implemented as a whole group project.
These activities are interactive and will keep students engaged in learning about endangered animals!
