► TEACHING TIPS ◄
The first vocabulary matching puzzle is picture based. Students are provided with a word bank of Endangered Animals
and they simply need to match the words with pictures. This type of puzzle is ideal for visual learners! The second puzzle is much more challenging and it is suggested to be given to students after a week or more of doing the first one. In this puzzle, students are only provided with definitions of the different Endangered Animals
vocabulary words and a word bank. Therefore, they need to read the definitions first and then match the vocabulary words provided with the definitions. This second puzzle is particularly effective for vocabulary revision and retention as well as for expanding their vocabulary further. Plus, it can be used as a test!
