Place students in pairs or let them pick partners. Each partner draws a slip of paper out of a box: one partner draws an endangered species and the other draws an interview character. Students work with their partners to create a presentation that covers the information outlined in the rubric. They then prepare the presentation portion in the format of an interview of the endangered species by the interviewer. Give students 2 class periods to prepare and count on 2-3 days for each group to give their 5 minute presentation.
