This is a great culmination activity that can be hand written or computer generated. Topics included: why animals are threatened or endangered, what humans can do to help these animals, reproduction, adaptations, and food chains.
Have students use the U.S. Fish and Wildlife web site for daily updates to the Threatened / Endangered Species list.
I give this rubric to the students so they know exactly what is expected. They return it to me for grading. Sometimes, I let the students grade themselves first!
