This is an activity where 2 - 4 students work together to create a PowerPoint on an endangered or threatened animal. Each student has a role of either an engineer, nutritionist, environmentalist, or a zoologist. Students are responsible for their report that will go into the PowerPoint. This year, I had groups of 2 students, so each student took on two roles.
This is a great way to review many topics: types of consumers, food chains, predators, physical traits, behavioral adaptations, vertebrate / invertebrate, habitats, why animals are endangered or threatened and how humans can help these animals.
