Your students will create easy-to-read "flip booklets" that will allow them to identify ending sounds! Each mini-booklet is on a single piece of paper for ease of use! The students color in the delightful pictures, cut them out and place them together to create a booklet in which the pictured item in the sentence is "flipped" up to create a new sentence each time.
For example, for the "t" booklet the students read "Foot ends with t." They flip up the picture of the foot to reveal a picture of a boat. They then read "Boat ends with t." This continues with goat, cat and hat to give them five everyday objects that end with the same sound.
There are booklets for the following ending sounds: a, ch, d, g, k, l, m, n, o, p, r, s, t, th, and y.
Also included is a chart to keep track of student progress.
