Product Description
Cut & Paste

Students read the word in the box, then change the ending to whatever letter is in the star at the top of the worksheet. They say their new word then find the picture of the new word and glue in the box.

Example: read the word "lip." Look at the star at the top. This sheet has a /d/. I change the beginning sound in lip to a /d/ sound. My new word is lid. Now I find the picture of the lid and glue it in the space with the word lip.

Addresses Kindergarten Common Core Standards:
--CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.1b Recognize that spoken words are represented in written language by specific sequences of letters.
--CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.2e Add or substitute individual sounds (phonemes) in simple, one-syllable words to make new words.

INCLUDES:
--6 cut/paste activity pages (see free sample for pg. 1)
--1 blank template to make your own (I have a listing for a digital version that you can edit. The one included in this packet is a .pdf file and you would have to print and actually write/draw or cut out and tape pictures in the boxes).
--3 informational pages: printing instructions and common core standards page.
