Product Description
Students will review the law of conservation of mass, counting atoms, physical and chemical changes, and balancing equations before they learn the differences between exothermic and endothermic reactions with this PowerPoint presentation. There are 37 total slides with this presentation, which includes two quick assessment games. And...it is editable!

Game 1: Last to Stand--As compounds appear on the screen, students will quickly race to stand up any time the total number of atoms equals TEN. If you are the last to stand, or stand at the wrong time, you get a strike. The students with the fewest amount of strikes at the end wins!

Game 2: Rapid Fire--Students will watch as pictures flash on the screen. The pictures represent physical and chemical changes. Students will race to shout out the correct answer faster than anyone else in their small group. If you get it right, you get a point. The student with the most points at the end is the winner.
