This file consist of ~9 slides focused on different types of energy formatted in two column note taking style. The power point is interactive and keeps students engaged. The format for two-column notes is great and teaches students how to organize their notes and study them!
The lecture focuses on the difference between energy and work, potential energy, kinetic energy, gravitational potential energy, and elastic energy.
In the past, after using the PowerPoint, I had my students complete the lab "How High Does the Ball Bounce?" to focus on the change in kinetic energy of a tennis ball based on height. It was a great way to reinforce the concept! How High Does the Ball Bounce Lab
