PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This power point highlights the major elements of the topic of Energy. It begins with fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) and then goes on to discuss the shortage of fossil fuels as well as the advantages and disadvantages of using this type of energy. It transitions to Solar Energy and explains the difference between a passive and an active solar heating system, addresses solar cells, and power towers. The advantages and disadvantages of using solar power are presented. Nuclear energy and it's advantages and disadvantages follow. Then renewable resources are addressed (wind energy, hydroelectric energy, geothermal energy, tidal energy and biomass energy) with the advantages and disadvantages of each.
