Students read statements about Non-Renewable and Renewable Resources then decide if each statement is an advantage, simple fact or disadvantage.
After the statement is read, students draw a quick sketch of the statement. For Example, when a statement says "Wind energy cannot be transported." kids can draw a truck with an 'X' through it.
At the end of the reading, students make a data table highlighting if each source is renewable or non-renewable and what each source is used for (electricity, heat, transportation ,lighting and products) based on their statements sheets. In addition, students highlight their evidence on the statement sheets.
