This is a lesson where students create a booklet that details a story involving energy transformations. The final product is like an actual book with a cover page and a back page (with a blurb that hooks the reader). On each page, students identify a transformation, for example electrical energy --> thermal energy. Then they draw and color a picture of this type of conversion, for example a toaster. Finally, they write a sentence that describes what's taking place in the story. The student example I provided is helpful to see how the whole project looks in the end!
